Many people already have their own existing businesses when they first contemplate building and marketing a website. But for others the very first challenging question they face is:

“What should I sell on the Internet?”

Make A Decision From The Heart, Not Just From The Head

If you set up your entire business or website just around something that represents a market opportunity and not something that truly inspires you and makes you feel passionate then you are doomed to failure.
It may be okay in the early days to get enthused about promoting a product that you little or no emotional attachment to but when the times start getting tough, you’re putting in the long hours and things aren’t quite going your way you’ll wish you’d picked a product or subject matter that you really loved.

So that is my advice to you – by all means take on board the statistics and market research data to back up your decision but ultimate you business should be built around something you love. Then you’ll never have a problem selling it, going that extra mile or getting out of bed every day to do it!
